Going to USA

Tomorrow Kjersti and myself are going to US for two weeks to visit the churches in Gilmon and Grand Rapides. We are looking forward to meet our brothers and sisters over there. It is always good to be together, to share life and to equip and to be equipped. I don`t think I will be able to write on my blog, but in case you will forget: the harvest is ready and plentiful, and, the harvest is where you are. Keep on the good work.

Back in Norway

I am back in Bergen again for a while. We had a great trip to the Philippines and some other places in Asia. I have never felt the presence of God so strong as I did on this trip. Some of the places we where, the presence of the Holy Spirit just filled the room and the translator was not able to speak. People came afterword and said they had been healed from all kind of diseases.  We saw people healed from cancer, many who got born again. It was a great blessing to see the building place in Manila where we will have our base and training center for the work in Asia. Noralv and Tone are doing a fantastic job. When I was there we shared the gospel with the workers and several gave their life the Lord. For me it was a prophetic moment when I led the architect,Alan, to the Lord. Surrounded by the workers, He stood there with his eyes full of tears confessing Jesus as his Lord and Savior. God spoke to me and said that it was a prophetic sign of what will happen out from that place; healing and salvation to many people and nations and Alan was the one of first fruit of many. Asia are open to the gospel

Back from Helsinki-Finland

Just back from a fantastic week in Finland. Morten, Jørund and I was invited to Finland to preach on a conference in Porvaa, about 40 km from Helsinki. It was 7 different christian denomination who arranged it and we was invited to share about disipling and training people and about evangelistic cellgroups. We had a great time. From Tuesday to Thursday we was together with youth leaders. I was  so blessed by Mortens teaching. He is very anointed and he shared about the church as God`s church, that the church is God`s idea, not ours. He also shared who to see leaders come trough and how to train them. It was a very important and anointed teaching. I shared about the life in the Holy Spirit and we saw some instant healings and the power of God just hit the people in such a strong way. From Thursday to Friday we joined the rest of the conference and we had two seminars under the title " discipleship". The response was overwhelming, and I believe God open new doors for us into Finland trough new contacts. We also spent some time with Tony and Tullia,Jesaja and his wife. This is two couples who is working together with us in Finland and will be planting a church in Helsinki. We thank God for them.

Please pray for Finland. Pray for revival and for open doors. God has Finland on His agenda.

Finland is ready for revival

Just arrived from Finland. Morten Askeland, who is pastor in Kristent Fellesskap in Bergen and myself has been 5 days in Finland and it was 5 good days. One of the reason for our visit was to be together with some good friends, Toni and Tuuli who lives in Helsinki, but also to meet some other people who wanted to meet us. Thursday evening we spent together with Toni and Tuulia.We will see greate things happen together with them in Finland.

Friday we met Johan, who is a youth pastor in a pentecostal churh in Helsinki. We also spent some time talking about a bible week we will be a part of in June.

Saturday we met Leif and Kjerstin, fantastic people who love the Lord and who  wants to help us.

They had invited some people who wanted to know more about church planting and evangelistic cell groups. We had a great time. Here we met Pertri and his wife who is leading a housegroup based church.In June we will have an evangelistic outreach together with them in the region they work.

God is good, and He is open up different doors in to Finland, and I believe we will see a breakthrough in that great country. Pray for Finland and for our brothers and sisters there.

Stokke and Skien

Last week-end we had a gathering for cell group leaders in Stokke. Once every 6 month all the cellgroup leaders in the region come together to fellowship, pray and to seek God. Per Arne, who is one of the elders in the church in Bergen, was there together with me. Per Arne is an anointed bible teacher. We had a good time Friday evening and Saturday, sharing about a spirit filled church, how to have cell groups who reach the lost and also how to be a good cellgroupleader. (How to let the cellgroup be a living organism, not a small organization)

Sunday I was preaching in Kristent Fellesskap in Skien. I was so blessed to be together with brothers and sister and to see the grace of God among them. I was exited to see many new faces in the church. There has bee several people saved the last year, and I believe that`s just the start of something great. On Sunday morning we saw people saved, and some got instantly healed. God is good. I was staying with some good friends, Arve and Inger,  fantastic people who love the Lord. I also spent some time with Vidar Anderson, a good friend and a fellow vangelist. I am a blessed man with so many good sisters and brothers in the Lord. Hallelujah!

Salvation and healings in Stord

Tuesday and Wednesday this week I was visiting Kristent Fellesskap Stord, a related church in Kristent Nettverk. Jan Sigve and his wife Astrid Linn is doing a great work, not only in the local church but in the the whole region. Tuesday we had a gathering with the evangelists in the churches we are working together with in that region, and those we believe have an evangelistic anointing. We want to see evangelist`s in every church  who can equip the people of God so we can see the churches moving in the anointing and celebrating people receiving Jesus every day. Hallelujah. We had a great evening. That evening a man came to me and asked me if I could pray for his mother. "I want to see her saved" he said. I asked him to call his mother right there so I could talk to her. He called her and gave me the phone. I introduced myself and just shared the gospel with her. And do you now what? She received Jesus. You see; the gospel IS Gods power unto salvation. God also spoke to me about different diseases people had and we saw several instant healings. One with an eye problem was able to see perfect. Some with backproblems and strong pains got healed, etc..

Wednesday we had a church meeting, and I shared about living in the Holy Spirit and to see a Spirit filled church. The power of God was toughing people and people got healed. A young man, who came to the Lord last year brought his mother to the meeting, and before the meeting was over she confessed Jesus as Lord with a loud voice, and she got born again and will be baptized. I was so exited to see how the Holy Spirit touched people and to see the power in the Gospel in action.

Back from Bradford and Halifax

Kjersti and I just arrived from a week in UK, visiting Christian Life Church in Bradford and Kings Church in Halifax. In 1988 we were living in Gjøvik, east Norway, where we planted a church together with some very good friends, Kjersti and Paul Hubbard. Paul is from Bradford and they went back to lead a church in Bradford in 1991. Paul has an apostolic ministry and are overseeing several churches in UK, Italy and USA. It was good to see them again and we had a great time together. During the  week I had seminars and different kinds of meetings. What the focus was? Come on. Evangelism of course. What else?

The Church in Karmøy

Last Wednesday I was visiting the church in Karmøy, about 3 hours drive from Bergen.. It is always good to be together with friends. Sigve is leading the work, and he and John Mathias is doing a great job. On my way down to Karmøy The Holy Spirit told me different things he would do that evening.  It is always exiting to see and listen to the Spirit.  When I came to the meeting I was prepared. I shared about living in the Holy Spirit and talked about some characteristics of a Spirit filled church. After the teaching I just spoke out what the Holy Spirit showed me. That evening we saw several people saved f ( from the same family) . We saw people instantly healed.  It is so easy to be led by the Spirit. When we are sensitive to his voice, when we expect that he will talk to us, we will hear and see. And when we do what he ia asking us to, miracles happens, and in this atmosphere of faith everything can happen, and that evening was just like that. People saw, heard and believed. Praise God.

..og dere skal få kraft

Mandag kveld kom jeg tilbake etter nesten tre uker i India sammen med Solveig og Erling Thu, Noralv og Tone Askeland og Bente Danielsen. Det har vært en fin tur hvor vi har møtt mange fantastiske brødre og søstre. Jeg er imponert over det arbeidet som Erling og Solveig har lagt ned i denne store nasjonen over mange år. Det var tydelig å se hvor mye de betyr for menighetene vi besøkte forskjellige steder i India. Den Hellige Ånd var med å stadfestet med tegn og under når vi forkynte og proklamerte Guds Rike. Mange ble momentant helbredet fra forkskjellige sykdommer. En dame som ikke kunne gå p.g.a. forkrøplete bein, ble båret til møtet.(Se bildet)

Da jeg ba for henne kom Guds kraft i bena hennes, de ble rettet ut og hun stod opp og begynte å løpe frem og tilbake. Denne kvinnen var i tillegg døv. Gud åpnet ørene hennes og hun kunne, for første gang høre lyder. Flere døve fikk hørselen igjen. Armer som var stivet i bøyde stillinger pga. forkalkninger ble rettet ut under Guds kraft. Kreftsvulster forsvant, og mange ble satt fri fra store smerter. I et møte med ca. 300 ble 45 stykker døpt i Den Hellige Ånd. Manger tok imot Jesus da de så alle helbredelsene som skjedde. Mange demonbesatte ble satt fri. Det er fantastisk å se Guds kraft virke slik vi fikk oppleve. All ære til Jesus. Jeg er takknemlig til Gud for at jeg fikk være med på turen til India og møte en del av Jesus legeme som vet hva forfølgelse og lidelse er, og som trofast tjener Jesus.

Rapport fra India

Akkurat naa sitter jeg paa en internettkafe i Hydrabad i India. Vi har saa langt hatt en fantastisk tur. Mange har blitt frelst og satt fri fra demoner. Masse momentane helbredelser har skjedd i store samlinger og pga. dette har flerte kommet til tro. I et mote hvor det var ca 300, ble 45 stykker dopt i Den hellige And og Guds kraft berorte mennesker paa en fantastisk maate. I kveld gaar turen til Nadia hvor vi skalt treffe Chandrakant. Paa torsdag reiser vi til Jaipur hvor jeg skal vaere frem til Mandag da starter jeg paa hjemturen. Gud er trofast. Fortsett og be for oss om Guds Rikes fremgang og om beskyttelse paa turen.
