A miraclebaby

I just received a phone call this morning in my office.It was a woman who is a part of a church not far from Bergen. She just wanted to share some thing with me. She told me that I had been in the church one year ago and I brought a word of knowledge, saying that there was a woman in the meeting who had a tumor in her ovary and because of that, she could not have children. She told me she did not knew she had this tumor but they had been trying to have children but with no results. One week after the meeting she went to the doctor, and after some tests, and ex rays he told her that she had a tumor on her ovary. And then she said :" That is one year ago. I have not been at the hospital, but do you know what? The tumor is gone, and I am sitting hear holding my arms around my beautifully little baby. God healed me and gave us the most fantastic gift".

Hallelujah. Prais God. He did it again

One by one by one

To many of us is looking to hard to try to find the harvest. Here is the good news, you don`t need to try to find the harvest, you are surrounded by it. It is where you are. I have seen many people saved the last months, and all of them knew somebody I knew. They where friends, relatives, neighbors,etc. with my Christian friends. Most of them had been prayed for. Wednesday I was in Stord, visiting Kristent Fellsskap. With me there was three great guys from the bible school in Bergen. One of them got saved when I was in Stord one year ago. 8 months later we prayed with his mam who give her life to the Lord too.Hallelujah. So, on Wednesday  his mam was in the gathering, but not alone.She had her sister with her. Will I was sharing from Acts 2, how the first Christians become Christians, she was convicted about her situation and gave her life to the Lord. Fantastic. But the thing is. One is getting saved, this person has a nett work of people, a new harvest field. We just need to help them to reach this nett work and we do it together. This is what I have see so many times the last year. We help each other to reach our own natural network (oikos) with the gospel. The harvest is where you are. Look around. Have expectation and faith to see your friends, neighbors, people at work coming to Christ. You don`t need to do it alone but ask someone in your house group , church to walk this road together with you.

You are anointed of God for this purpose. That means, God is with you.

Saved in the last second

When I was in the Philippines this time, a friend of mine who is a pastor, gave this testimony in one of the meetings ( see the picture). Last time I was in Philippines I met my friend. When we talked together the Holy Spirit told me that this pastor was going to meet a man called Ricardo and  that Ricardo would be saved. My friend received the word and he tried to find this Ricardo when he came home to his village. He was looking and praying but he did not find him. After three months nothing had happened but one evening while he was in prayer, he started to think of a man he once knew called Ri. When he was praying he felt such a strong burden in his heart. The next day he went to see this man that he had not seen for years. He came to the house and knocked on the door. The man opened and my friend asked:"Is your real name  Ricardo?" "Yes" he answered."But why are you coming to see me today?" My friend told him the story how God had spoke to us about him, and he told him how much God loved him so much and had a great plan for his life. Ricardo looked at him in strange why with tears in his eyes and said: I was sitting in my room and had decided that I did not want to live any more. Then you came. Please help me. I want to be saved and receive a new life." Ricardo did not die, but received life instead. Hallelujah. Thank you God for saving people, and thank you my friend from Philippines for not giving up and for your obedience the Holy Spirit. A man was rescued from death because of what you did.

Tumors disappeared

Heard a great testimony  when I was in in the northern part of Norway some weeks ago. a woman came to me and gave me some flowers and told this story: "Last time you was here you prayed for those who was sick in the meeting, and I was one of them. My situation was that I had tumors different places in my body and was going to the hospital the following week for a surgery to remove all the tumors.. When you prayed I felt a strong heat in my body. The week after I was in the hospital, laying on the bed and the nurses was preparing for the surgery. Suddenly the doctor came in to the room and said: " Something has happen here. The new ex rays shows no tumors. We need to take more pictures." They did, but they could not find any tumors, not one single one in my body. This is one year ago and I am totally healed." She was so happy, and so was I.

Thank`s to Jesus, our Lord, Saviour and Healer.

What a fishingtrip

Last week I was in Sunnhordaland, a region south of Norway where we are planting several churches. I was together with Jan Sigve who is leading the work in that region. Jan Sigve and his wife Astrid Linn is a wonderful couple who love the Lord and they have a heart for the lost. Jan Sigve, like myself, loves to fish and Thursday we spent some hours in a boat fishing.Together with us there was another man and I just want to tell you about him and what happened. Last Sunday I met this man in Kristent Felleskap in Bergen. I said hello to him and asked if he had been to the church before, He said no. I than asked him if he was a Christian ( very often that is a good question to ask because you can help them if they say no). He said no, I'm not. Than I hard that he was from the place where Jan Sigve and I was going to fish , and we asked him if he wanted to join us. He said: yea, off course. ( We should ask more. You will be surprised how many "yes" you will hear) So on Thursday we went out fishing, and our new friend joined us. We had a great time together and we got some big fish. Back from the sea we asked him if he wanted to have lunch with us. ( Very important that you have a plan and a strategy how to lead people to Christ). Before this we hadn't shared the Gospel with him, but both Jan Sigve and myself had demonstrated the gospel to him by being friends and minister the love of to him. (Remember when you share the gospel, you are the bate.) During the lunch we started to present the gospel and I felt the battle. We spoke for two hours and at the end I asked: "Do you feel that I am pressing you to hard?"  And listen to his answer: "No, no don't stop no. I feel there is a battle and I don't no what to do". (I tell you. So many out there are longing for us to help, to lead, to guide them into the Kingdom of God.) And than, after a long battle he gave his life to Jesus and there was celebration in Sunnhordaland and in Heaven. Hallelujah.  I saw him today in the meeting and I was so thankful to God that He has included us in this great, great ministry, the ministry of reconciliation.  We saw several people saved last week. Listen, it's working. The gospel IS God's power unto salvation.

One thought - many miracles

I have some good friends, Tone and Noralv, who spend most of their time in the Philippines as missionaries. They told me a story that touched my heart. One day Tone had this thought ( the most common way the Holy Spirit talk to us) that she should go to the local hospital. The good thing is that she did it. ( Many times we think but do not act, and that`s the difference) She went to the hospital and there she saw Paula, a little girl suffering from tuberculosis and all kinds of deceases and she was just days from dying. The parents did not have money to pay for the treatment so Paula was sent home. When Tone and Noralv heard that, they gave money so that Paula could get the medicine and also they helped her to come to a hospital where she could stay until she was well. I saw a picture of Paula  when they met her the first time and a picture of her today and I cried. She is perfectly healed and well

Because of what Tone and Noralv did the whole family has been saved and they also received money so that the other children could start school and the father can take his driving license so that he can support his family.  Hallelujah!  But listen, it all started with a small thought and someone who was obedient and a miracle happened.

Thank God for obedient people like Tone and Noralv. I am proud to have friends like that.

Heald from hepatitis C

One year ago I met a woman who was very sick. She had  Hepatitis C. We talked together and I laid my hands on her and healed her in the name of Jesus. Reading the Bible I don`t find that we shall pray for the sick (you can find it in James , about calling on the elders let them pray for you). What I find is that we shall heal the sick in the wonderful name of Jesus. Luke 10:  heal the sick. Luke 9: heal the sick.  So I did that. I healed her in the name of Jesus. I met her last week, and do you know what? She was completely healed. There was no Hepatitis C in her body. Hallelujah praise the Lord. I am exited. It does not matter what name sickness have, or how serious and deadly it is. The name of Jesus is over all other names, diseases, circumstances. Jesus is the Savior - the Healer - The Ruler - and He is our Lord. Be brave in healing the sick. Minister the love of God to people, be confident in The Holy Spirit, but do it. Pray for people. Share the gospel - be the gospel - demonstrate the gospel - and live a supernatural natural life - today!

Fishing

Yesterday I was fishing together with Knut and Tony. We got a lot of fish and we had such a good time together. Let me tell you about Tony. 4 years ago Kjersti and myself lived on Sotra, 30 minutes driver from Bergen. We had just started a cell group with 6-7 people. One of them had a friend and asked if we could pray for him, his name was Tony. We prayed fro Tony that he should be saved, him and his wife. Two weeks later Tony came to cellegroupmeeting. He was so blessed by what he saw and heard and decided to go to the Sunday meeting. That morning he received Jesus into his life, and was baptized in the Spirit. Praise God. The same day, after dinner he was i the garden and he saw to of his neighbors and he said to them: "Listen, can I tell what happened to me today?" ( nobody had told him to be careful talking to sinners. Hm, just kidding). He said: " I have been together with some Christians. They told me about Jesus, and today I gave my life to him. It is fantastic!" And than he said: "We shall be together Wednesday evening in our home. Will you be together with us?".  The same evening Tony called me and asked if he had done something wrong when he invited them and said that the cell group should be in their home because he knew that we had planned to be another place. I said" Tony, I am so angry... of course I did`nt. I blessed him and said: "praise God, they will be saved." And do you know what? That was exactly what happened. They both gave their life to Jesus. After some weeks Tonys wife also got saved and later on his mother in law. Isn`t that fantastic? I believe in cell groups. I believe in working together to see our family, friends, neighbors coming into the Kingdom. Tony was the link, the contact point to those who got saved, but they met Jesus when they came to the cell group. You and I are just different parts, but together we are his body, or as "The Massage" says in John 1:  the word became flesh and moved into the neighborhood". And that is what we are; Jesus in the neighborhood, at work, at school.

Evangelistic churches

My most important priority the next few years is to recognize, train and equip the evangelist and those who have an evangelistic anointing in the churches we are working together with. If we can see, recognize and help those who are evangelists in the churches, find and equip at least 15 - 20 % of the church who have a clear focus to reach out for the lost, including some of leaders , I believe we will have a great breakthrough and a great harvest. In this way there will always bee somebody in the church who will challenge, help, give focus about reaching the lost and to support the leaders in this area. There will be an environment for people to take different initiatives, for people, children, youth, adults, to be creative in their evangelism and their evangelistic lifestyle.

Last evening the local evangelist team from the Kristent Fellesskap -Bergen was together in Finn Martins home. We had a great time and I was so blessed to see all this good people and the fellowship we had. God is good. I just know that the harvest is going to be ripe, today, tomorrow, .............

The Word and the Spirit

I was in the southern part of Norway, where I met this pregnant woman last month. She came to talk to me and to tell me this story. " Last year you and your wife was here in this building talking about The Holy Spirit. Suddenly you stopped preaching and said; "there is a woman in this room. You have tumors in the womb and you have been trying to have a baby for some years but it has bee impossible because of the tumors. God will heal you and before one year is over you will have a baby". "I received the word. It was me and here I am. God healed me and I have only one month left of my pregnancy and that will be 11 mount after you brought the word."   Is`nt that fantastic. I had forgot all about it, but The Holy Spirit took the word and made it become life in this woman. I`m so thankful to God for what He is doing. It is always the Word and the Spirit, and that create life, overflowing life. The only thing we have to do is to give Him our mouth, voice, hands so that we can be opened channels for His supernatural power.

It is all about Him.
