Going to USA

Tomorrow Kjersti and myself are going to US for two weeks to visit the churches in Gilmon and Grand Rapides. We are looking forward to meet our brothers and sisters over there. It is always good to be together, to share life and to equip and to be equipped. I don`t think I will be able to write on my blog, but in case you will forget: the harvest is ready and plentiful, and, the harvest is where you are. Keep on the good work.

One by one by one

To many of us is looking to hard to try to find the harvest. Here is the good news, you don`t need to try to find the harvest, you are surrounded by it. It is where you are. I have seen many people saved the last months, and all of them knew somebody I knew. They where friends, relatives, neighbors,etc. with my Christian friends. Most of them had been prayed for. Wednesday I was in Stord, visiting Kristent Fellsskap. With me there was three great guys from the bible school in Bergen. One of them got saved when I was in Stord one year ago. 8 months later we prayed with his mam who give her life to the Lord too.Hallelujah. So, on Wednesday  his mam was in the gathering, but not alone.She had her sister with her. Will I was sharing from Acts 2, how the first Christians become Christians, she was convicted about her situation and gave her life to the Lord. Fantastic. But the thing is. One is getting saved, this person has a nett work of people, a new harvest field. We just need to help them to reach this nett work and we do it together. This is what I have see so many times the last year. We help each other to reach our own natural network (oikos) with the gospel. The harvest is where you are. Look around. Have expectation and faith to see your friends, neighbors, people at work coming to Christ. You don`t need to do it alone but ask someone in your house group , church to walk this road together with you.

You are anointed of God for this purpose. That means, God is with you.

Meet needs

During Christmas I have been reading trough all the gospels to see how Jesus met people. I have been challenged to see how he always was moving in the supernatural (If you are a christian; read natural) when he met people. He saw somebody and their needs and healed them and because of that many believed in him.  I have been praying, reading and asking the Lord about how the harvest is speaking. It is not always those who are using the right words and talking about being saved, who are closest, but often those who come with a need and ask for help. As Christians we need to be more sensitive in our spirit. I have found that many people who have needs and ask for help also are ready to be saved even if they them selves do not know that. The good thing is that we can meet their needs just like Jesus did. We don't lack anything, because the Holy Spirit lives in us and we are supernatural beings and have the power of God.Let us ask the Holy Spirit to open our eyes so we see people and their needs and that we meet them the way Jesus would have done.And remember, it is good to see them healed and to meet their needs , but the most important thing is to bring them into the Kingdom.
