Focus and strategy for 2006

Hit_the_targetI am looking forward to 2006. I know it will be a great year and that I will see more people saved than I ever have seen before. But there are two things, two areas I need to concentrate on; To work according to my plan or strategy ( it is important that you have a plan), and that I keep focused. In Luke 10, Jesus gave the disciples a task, and he told them what to do. " go to different places and find a man of peace ( read; people who will receive what you share.) But than he said:"Do not stop on the road!!" Why? He did not what them to stop, to aloud themselves not to be focused. I want to see my neighbor saved. I pray for them, I bless them. But if they shall be saved I need to focus, I need to make a plan which I know I can work according to, that I know I can do. That will give results. So my prayer for the next year is: "God help me to keep focus in what you have called me to do, and help me also to make plans and strategies that is according to your plans, and help me to see them fulfilled."

Blessed with a good family

Sunniva_dancing_balletI am a blessed man. God has given me the most beautifull wife and partner. He has also blessed me with four fantastic girls whom all loves the Lord and serve him in many different ways like leading worship, dance ( look at the picture. That is one of my daugthers dancing ballet), drama etc. This Christmas we have been together and I am just so thankful to the Lord for what He have done for us and for what He has given to me. Yesterday, around the table we was laughing, joking and I was filled with thanksgiving. God, you`ve done a great job. I must be one of the most blessed man in the world. Thank you Lord. It`s all your grace.

Christmas is harvest-time

Julebilde_1 I am really looking forward to Christmas, to bee with family and friends, and just have a good time. But I don`t want to relax too much. I have found that Christmas is full of opportunities to share the good news, to demonstrate the good news and that the sound of my footsteps is good news to those I am together with during Christmas. My pray for all of you is that you will have a wonderful Christmas and that many people will experience the reality of the Christmas message;  Jesus came to earth to save everyone who believe and receive him.   "For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor,* Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace." Isaiah 9.6

"May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all."

Saved in the last second

Fillipinene_oktober_2005_025_1 When I was in the Philippines this time, a friend of mine who is a pastor, gave this testimony in one of the meetings ( see the picture). Last time I was in Philippines I met my friend. When we talked together the Holy Spirit told me that this pastor was going to meet a man called Ricardo and  that Ricardo would be saved. My friend received the word and he tried to find this Ricardo when he came home to his village. He was looking and praying but he did not find him. After three months nothing had happened but one evening while he was in prayer, he started to think of a man he once knew called Ri. When he was praying he felt such a strong burden in his heart. The next day he went to see this man that he had not seen for years. He came to the house and knocked on the door. The man opened and my friend asked:"Is your real name  Ricardo?" "Yes" he answered."But why are you coming to see me today?" My friend told him the story how God had spoke to us about him, and he told him how much God loved him so much and had a great plan for his life. Ricardo looked at him in strange why with tears in his eyes and said: I was sitting in my room and had decided that I did not want to live any more. Then you came. Please help me. I want to be saved and receive a new life." Ricardo did not die, but received life instead. Hallelujah. Thank you God for saving people, and thank you my friend from Philippines for not giving up and for your obedience the Holy Spirit. A man was rescued from death because of what you did.

Tumors disappeared

Arne3Heard a great testimony  when I was in in the northern part of Norway some weeks ago. a woman came to me and gave me some flowers and told this story: "Last time you was here you prayed for those who was sick in the meeting, and I was one of them. My situation was that I had tumors different places in my body and was going to the hospital the following week for a surgery to remove all the tumors.. When you prayed I felt a strong heat in my body. The week after I was in the hospital, laying on the bed and the nurses was preparing for the surgery. Suddenly the doctor came in to the room and said: " Something has happen here. The new ex rays shows no tumors. We need to take more pictures." They did, but they could not find any tumors, not one single one in my body. This is one year ago and I am totally healed." She was so happy, and so was I.

Thank`s to Jesus, our Lord, Saviour and Healer.
