Churchmeeting

Yesterday we had a church-meeting in my home church in Bergen. I was so blessed to be with my family and friends. It was a great time with focus on mission. Knut and Elisabeth shared from their trip to Sudan. Erling and Solveig showed some pictures from India and Noralv and Tone told us the latest news from the Philippines. Sometimes it is good to lift our heads and see what God is doing around the world. We also prayed for our own city ( read harvest field). Good things are happening. I thank God for what he is doing and I know one thing; I will part of it.

Have expectation. Watch and lisston. The Holy Spirit will use you today

A supernatural natural Sunday

VesterlenWhat we saw on Saturday in Vesterålen was great, but it continued. When we were together Saturday one of the guys in the evangelistic team from Harstad, received an sms from a couple he knew. He received the sms when I was talking about the difference between a great harvest and a harvest which is ready to harvest. the sms was from a couple who asked for help. Bernt The asked him to come and help them to receive Jesus. They wanted to become Christians. Later that day Bernt Tore and I met a man he knew at the gas-station-station.We had a fantastic time in the car. We prayed for him and blessed him. Later on that day we was going to be with a couple in the church. They had invited some people who needed healing. We had a great time and we saw the Spirit of God healed people.

TrondheimMonday morning I left Vesterålen and went to Trondheim to be together with the church there. We are working together with some fantastic brothers ands sisters in Trondheim, mostly students. I stayed with Terje and Lise. Monday evening I was together with the evangelistic team. We had a good time talking about reaching our Oikos (natural nett work of friends, colleges, family etc.) Tuesday morning Terje and I spend most of the time talking about how to plant churches and how to reach our society with the Gospel. On the afternoon we met with the cell group leaders. I tell you. Trondheim will not be difficult to take for Jesus with people like these group leaders. Hallelujah. On the evening all the groups was together and some had invited some friends. We worshiped God, prayed and I felt led to share from Acts 2 how the first Christians become followers of Christ. Jesus, the Savior of the World was there and some students gave their life's to him.

Remember this. Every day is a supernatural natural day. Expect miracles, healing and salvation to day and just obey the small thought and do it. That is the key. Just do it.

A supernatural natural Saturday

Me_on_a_mountain_in_vesterlenThis week-end I am in Vesterålen, north of Norway to spend some time with the church here and also have some time with the evangelistic teams in the church in Sortland and Harstad. It has been a greate week-end. Saturday I was asked of my good friend Bernt Tore, if we could go and visit some of the people they had been praying for. First we went home to a family to pray for them but most important, to share the gospel with them. It was a fantastic time and the presence of God was in that home. Before we left they all gave their lives to the Lord Jesus. Hallelujah. Then we went over to see the parents to a man I led to the Lord last year. They wanted to see me. She was a believer but not her husband. But now he is. His confession was clear: "I now believe that Jesus is the son of God, and he is my Lord and Savior". Praise God. Later that day when we was together with the team, God spoke to me about a woman and I asked if somebody knew her. One of the girls in the team said yes. We prayed for this woman, and yesterday evening Bernt Tore got an sms from the girl in the team; "The woman are saved. She gave her life to the Lord"!  What a day. People saved and healed. My prayer is :" God let every day in my life be like this. Let this be the normal".  To day I am going to preach in the church in Sortland. The main title of what I will share is:"Swing the sickle, the harvest is ready".  Today we also will meet somebody in the church. They have invited  several non christian friends to their home who wants to be healed. Do you know what? I think they will receive more than just an healing. This is a day of salvation.

Have a great harvest day.

The harvest is ready and plentiful

Kornker_2 This weekend I am in Skien, a city on the eastern part of Norway. I am going to do some teaching for some student at Youth with a Mission training center here in Skien, but most of the time I will spend together with Kristent Fellesskap Skien, a church which is a part of the apostolic work we have in Norway. On the plane from Bergen this morning, I was thinking about the harvest. When harvest is mentioned in the Bible is often together with the word "sickle". "Use the sickle, the harvest is ready". Normally when I have been thinking of the harvest, I have been thinking of numbers. But what does it mean that it is ready to been sickle? Do you now what I think? I think it means that many people are ready to be led into the kingdom today, this week! Yes, I know.;It is easier to think that it means just that the harvest is plentiful, many people. That dos`nt challenge us so much. But if it means that the harvest is full of people that are ready to bring into the Kingdom, today, and are just waiting for us to led them, than we are challenge because our experience and our mind tells us something else. But listen, don't let you mind and your experience lead you, but be led by The Spirit. Let him give us an harvesters eye so that we see the same things as the Lord of the harvest see. When that happens,we don`t just see people, but harvest. Today you meet harvest ( read; people who is ready for you to lead into the Kingdom). God has given you a field that is ready to harvest. Where that field is? Where you are. " Well, I don't know if there is anybody in my family, among my friends, neighbors, people where I work, who are open and ready". Ask the Holy Spirit. Be in his presence and listen.Be sensitive. And when he speaks, ( as He will) our response must be obedience. We have to go and help them into the Kingdom. The harvest is ready.......today.

Hallelujah!!!  Do you know what? My phone rang, right now while I was sitting her writing. A woman who is 89 years old wanted help to receive Jesus. I don`t know this woman, but that is not important. Jesus does. Praise the Lord. That was a miracle.

Love from a co-harvester.
